32The start
I'm 20, a dual student in the public sector and started investing at the beginning of December with 45k - perhaps a bit of bad timing, but the money is finally in the market. The largest positions are currently in the MSCI World ($IWDA (-0.69%) ), an AI & Big Data ETF ($XAIX (-1.12%) ) and my bling-bling gold position ($IGLN (+1.42%) ), because a little sparkle in the portfolio never hurts. Every month, €175 goes into the MSCI World and €75 into XAIX - a solid savings plan.
In addition, I have built up a ~€1,200 position in the Nasdaq100 ETF ($CSNDX (-1.04%) ) to capture the tech sector.
The savings plans from the screenshot are still running: Bitcoin $BTC (+2.05%) (€ 15 per week), MicroStrategy $MSTR (+1.29%) (€5 per week), Nasdaq 100 (€70 per month), D-Wave Quantum $QBTS (-1.38%) (€ 10 per month), MSCI China (€ 5 per month) and Video Gaming & Esports (€ 5 per month). Incidentally, the small €5-10 savings plans are my kind of gambling - a little gambling is a must.
On top of that, my mom runs another Nasdaq 100 savings plan with €80 per month. This means that a total of €500 flows into my savings plans every month.
Edit: I want to increase my $BTC (+2.05%) position significantly in the medium to long term, apart from the savings plan. I want my crypto share to be at least as large as my gold share.
Oh yes, and because it can't be wild enough: I still hold a Palantir long bill and - now it's getting exotic - a bill on orange juice concentrate ($DE000SB3T5A9 ). Well.
The portfolio is in place, the savings plans are running - now it's time to wait and see where the journey takes us. Gold is shining, tech is growing, orange juice... let's see whether the market will be freshly squeezed or sour.
I wish you all another bullish 2025!
Your opinion on...
How do you feel about $QBTS (-1.38%) ?
- good start to the week! :-)
$QBTS (-1.38%) Yesterday the stop loss took effect at €9.5 and I sold part of it. Taking profits is never wrong :) the rest remains in the portfolio and I'm taking a leisurely look at the price trend, today back to Gen Norden.
$QBTS (-1.38%) A week ago I thought about getting in, now I regret it.... I think Quantum is just overheated. What do you think is a good entry price?
Depot move from ConsorsBank to TradeRepublic.
Yesterday I ordered my securities account transfer from Consorsbank to TradeRepublic.
A few considerations prompted me to do this.
Savings plans are free of charge (may change)
Savings plans can be executed weekly. (At Consorsbank only monthly. But you can trigger one-off payments on certain days of the month. I have not yet found out whether this is possible with TR)
the roundup and the cashback of the debit card are very interesting. Provided you consistently pay by card. But I'm a person who prefers to pay small amounts in cash. Not least so that small businesses (bakeries etc.) don't have to pay the fees. I don't care about larger sums). I tried out the card today with 2 really small purchases. Together they brought 43 cents.
TR works with the Finanzguru app, but not properly with Getquin (so far), maybe something is still going on there, it's supposed to have something to do with an API. No plan.
1 Euro per order
3.25% from tomorrow 3% on the cash balance. Three times as much at ConsorsBank.
I am convinced of the concept after a lot of research on the net.
The process was really simple. I was able to apply for the transfer directly online at ConsorsBank. However, only whole items can be transferred, but that should be known.
The full units of ETFs and shares were booked out of the custody account 10 minutes after the order was sent.
The sale of the partial units was free of charge. But it took a little while.
But I also knew that thanks to the WWW.
For the time being, the sum from the parts remains in the clearing account for the advance lump sum.
Now I have to wait until the deposit has been transferred. I'm also curious to see whether the tax documents and the loss pots will be transferred.
I think everyone feels a little queasy when their securities are flying around in orbit somewhere.
I'll keep you posted on how long it took and so on.
I wish you all a Merry Christmas.
Carsten
Created without A.I. but certainly with errors :-)
Update:
16.12.24 Transfer requested
Something is happening 17.12.24 I would not have expected that
WOW the first papers are arriving at TR.
$QBTS (-1.38%) (first test purchase at TR)
Update: 18.12.24
All items have been transferred to TR. And that within two days. I don't think it could be faster.
UPDATE 24.12. Christmas surprise. 11:20 a.m.
All transactions have been transferred. Buy prices match.
Buy in is correct. So, all in all, a great change of custody account.
I am happy
Greetings

Hello dear community,
I recently invested in the share $QBTS (-1.38%) share. There has been a return of 40% in the last 2 days. That feels too good to be true. However, it is also a fact that Quantum Computer outperforms conventional computers by far and may have achieved a technical breakthrough here.
What are your opinions on this - is this just hype or is the massive price increase justified?
For me it is a multi-year investment. None of the companies (qantum, rigetti, IonQ) are currently making money and in my estimation this will take years. I am invested in all 3 with the same amount and am speculating on a multibagger and 2 total failures in 10 years. I am not selling anything and am not setting a stop loss. But in total I have only invested 1% of my stack in the 3 stocks 🤷🏻♂️
$$QBTS (-1.38%) can anyone tell me why they go up like this I couldn't find anything on the internet?
