@SharkAce thought sharks get a burial at sea?

@tim1 Burial at sea like the Vikings back then would of course also be very cool

@SharkAce like in Hawaii? That's really great

@Lorena similar. In Hawaii, as far as I know, they go out with the ashes and scatter them.

With the Vikings, you are sent out to sea/lake whatever on a boat and then the boat is set on fire. Both very cool though. Would definitely like to be scattered somewhere by the water but there are some pretty wild laws 😅

@SharkAce I would actually like something like that. I find funerals and the like far too sad anyway.

@Lorena definitely 😅 This way, the remaining ones can also finish better in my opinion.

And ever since I saw a homeless man sleeping on a gravestone and peeing on another one... I don't want to be buried.

@SharkAce Doesn't make sense to me either. Then someone from the family always has to take care of it. Besides ... what's the point, in a few years the body will have decayed, eaten away, whatever. Now as a non-denominational person anyway 😂

@Lorena I agree 🤝 and I think you even pay rent for the grave...

@SharkAce Everything in life costs money, only death is free. Whereby you see - not even the 😂 I'll become an Apache combat helicopter in my next life 🥴

I also have them on the WL, weren't they so extremely indebted? 😅

@Divmann I became aware of them through Peter Lynch in his book. I only briefly checked the fundamentals and they were convincing. Debt was kept within limits. Apparently they have already reduced their debt quite a bit.

@tim1 Oh great, thanks for the info.

@Divmann Unfortunately quite expensive at the moment. Not a purchase for me for the time being at least.

@EnjoyCapitalism are active in the USA. With deaths on the US side, shares would probably be the least of the problems. I came across them in a book. The business model is quite interesting, as it is rather unpopular. And in view of an ageing population, at a decent price it's certainly a buy candidate if everything is fundamentally right.

@tim1 Yes, there will always be deaths; in view of the ageing population, an investment in nursing home operators should also be considered. Solid margins and a secure business model.

@EnjoyCapitalism Yes. This "people always die" or, for example, "people always eat" doesn't really convince me. There are also many food companies that are doing badly. It could be the same here. With poor management, it doesn't help that the population is ageing. At SCI, however, the figures look good. Growth is intact. Debt has also been reduced. At the moment, they seem rather expensive by historical standards.
